Hello!!
We're still here on the peketa camping in Kaikoura (I know I said it was named teketa in my last post but it's actually named peketa). We where supposed to leave today, but before we leave we have to swim with dolphins, and all tours where booked until tomorrow. But tomorrow when we've swimmed with the dolphins we're going to Nelson.
I've always wanted to swim with dolphins so I'm so exited for tomorrow. I really hope it's going to be a success. It will be an amazing life experience. And it's going to be beautiful, I hope. We're going on the first tour in the morning (half past 5am) so we'll have to get up around 4am. But it's definitely going to be worth it. I can't wait!
Yesterday we wen't in to town to book the dolphine tour. When the tour was booked we ate lunch and then walked around in the town. (The book was sold out in this town too...) it was a bit cold but except from that a really nice day.
Today i've been drawing the New Zealand landscape for my homework. It didn't end up so good. After that we ate some very yummy fruits. Pineapple, watermelon and apple. I like fruits.
Soon we're going in to town again to look at a seal colony. Maybe we'll see Kurt. Or at least some of his friends. I look forwards to it. Seals are so cute :)
Hope you're having a good night sleep at home. Bye! Bye!

Hey!
Now we're back in Kaikoura where I wrote you last time. I'm going to tell you what happened since then.
We drived from Kaikoura to Christchurch, there we picked up the camper van. It's big so Toves mum think it's scary to drive it with the lefthand traffic and all but she managed to do it just fine, so that's good. I like the camper, except from one thing. It's really noise when you drive it.
We drived to a camping site about 20 minutes from Christchurch named Woodend, or as the New Zealand people announce it "woodind". It was really nice and we stayed there for two nights. It was like you knew all the people on the camping. Everybody said "Hi" and smiled at you when you walked by.
Yesterday it was very windy but really, really hot. At least 30 degrees outside. When it was a bit cooler we went't for a walk on the beach. It was really big waves so we couldn't swim. But we got pretty wet anyway when we where running in the water. It was really beautiful and we had a great time.
Today I bought a book. Not the one I wanted, just so I have something to read until we'll find it. This book is called "the book thief" it seems to be a good book as well.
Now we've just arrived near Kaikoura again on a camping site named "teketa beach holiday park" or something like that. It's really windy and rain in the air so it's really cozy sitting in the camper van. Now we're going to eat some food and then we're going to watch a movie.
Hope you're all good. I surely am. Bye!

Oh! And I forgot to mention this and this is important and I really have to tell you about Kurt.
Kurt is a seal. We met him when we where driving right by the sea and stopped to look at the waves. He was just lying there chilling on a rock. He was really nice.
If you want to see pictures of him. Check out mine and Toves Swedish blog or our Instagram account "amonthinnz"
Just thought you should know about him. Bye!

Hi!
I don't have much time to write this post. Soon we're going to pic up the camper in Christ Church. We probably won't have any wifi in a while. I'm going to try to write you as much as I can.
Yesterday we took the ferry from Wellington to Picton. It took about 3 hours. In Picton we wanted to swim in the ocean, so we put our swimminsuits on and walked to the beach. On out way to the beach we saw two sting rocks. So we where scared that if we would get in the water a stingrock would sting us. There where no other people swimming so it just maid it scarier. But we did manich to walk out a few meters from the beach and lie down on our stomachs. So you can say we where bathing... Almost .
Anyway now we are in Kaikoura where we spent the night in a really nice motel. The best this far. And now we're going to jump in the car and drive a few hours to pic up the camper.
Hope I see you soon! Bye!
(I didn't have time to read it through, so sorry if there are any typos or things like that)

Finally WiFi
Hello!
I haven't been posting in days now. We haven't got any wifi. But now here I am in a nice hotel in Wellington and finally some working wifi. We've done lots of stuff since I last wrote you. I'm going to try to tell you about it without writing a bible.
We've started in Auckland in Friday. We drived to a small town called Rotorua. It was a really cozy town, but it didn't smell to good. In Rororua there are hotsprings. And the gas from the springs smelled. A lot. But it was fine.
We stayed in Rotorua for two nights, in a very old and beautiful hotel. The day we came we just went out in the town looking around, eating some food and stuff like that.
The next day we where supposed to go to Hobbiton. A place with a few hobbit houses. You who've seen The Lord of the rings and the hobbit movies will understand what I mean, you others should really see the movies. But anyway, the Hobbiton tour was full boocked, so instead we went on the duck tour. The duck tour is a tour that shows you around in Rotorua. You're driving around in a big car from the Second World War looking a bit like a duck. It can be a boat as well. So we where driving both on land and in water. It was really beautiful in Rotorua and the driver told us a lot about it. When we've finished the tour we went to a grouserystore and bought some food and made ourself a good chicken salad for dinner.
On our way to Napier, the next town we lived in, we stopped in "Oraki Korako" or whatever the name was, It means "the hidden valley". In "the hidden valley" we went on a tour in a forest to see the many hotsprings/geysers and some other stuff too. It was really cool the water was so hot it boiled. There where boiling mud too. There where a few look outs in the forest and there where absoulutley great views from there. I took a lot of pictures. When we where finished looking at the springs/geysers we had a nice picnic before we went back on the road again.
In Napier we stayed in a lovely motel called "the albatross". In the motel there where a pool so Tove and I could finally take a dip. After the dip we went for a late dinner in the very cute town.
Now after another day on the road we've arrived in the capital city, Wellington. And tomorrow we're going to take the ferry to the South Island.
I don't think it's been boring spending a few hours a day in the car. The nature is amazing. It's so beautiful everywhere and I absolutely love it here. You can just sit watch out the window, if your not the one driving of course. And I also had a great book to read all the way.
Unfortunately I've finished the book now. So I'm trying to find a new one. I'm going to read "the fault in our stars" in English. Then I will practice my English even more. The problem is that the book is very popular and where sold out in the only bookshop we've found here. I will have to wait until we've arrived in Christ Church. Maybe it's good. I probably need to lay some time on my homework now. I haven't done so much yet...
I hope I get wifi soon again so I can write some more. Bye! Bye!

Hello!
Today in the morning it was raining, a lot. Then it stopped. Then it started raining again. The weather switch very quickly here. One minute it's really warm and the next it's really windy and rainy. You have to be prepared with different clothing.
I know I shouldn't complain when I know how boring the weather are at home and when everything else is great here. Like, all the people are so nice here. Everybody smiles at you and asks you how you are and other nice stuff. It makes me happy.
Today we where at an aquarium called Sea Life, on the other side of the city. We took a bus there and the bus looked like a shark, with teeth and all.
When we got there I couldn't see the aquarium, just a small house. Aperently the aquarium was under ground.
One if the first things we see when we walked in to the aquarium was pinguins. A lot of them. You could see them swimming under water and you could also see them walk on land. They where so cute. But you feel a little sorry for them when they don't have much space to live on,
Next where the jellyfishes. They where small and cute as well, but you got tired of watching them pretty fast. Did you know 97% of a jellyfish is water?
Next there was big ugly fishes and a few very large stingrocks. The stingrocks are very cool. We saw a man working at the aquarium feeding the stingrocks and there where like leaning on him. It looked really cool.
Last but not least where the tank with different fishes and big sharks. The tank went like a tunnel, so you where walking under the fishes and sharks as well. It was a bit scary when a big sharks with their many sharp theeth swimming right abow your head.
I think I liked the pinguins the most of all the animals in the aquarium. I find them fascinating.
The rest of the day we've just been lying in the hotel room. Witch is kind of nice. But tomorrow we'll pick up our car and drive away from Auckland to new places. It will be fun to see something new, but I really like Auckland so it's kind of sad too. I don't really know if I can type that much later. I don't if we'll have wifi later on. I'll guess we'll find out.
Hope you're enjoying school and work at home :P
